It was painful for Joachim Llambi in “Beat the Star”. But all the more he was happy about the victory against musician DJ Bobo.

The German-Spanish dance show judge Joachim Llambi (58) and the Swiss musician DJ Bobo (54) fought a duel among gentlemen and on an equal footing on Saturday evening (December 17) on “Schlag den Star” (ProSieben). In the fourth game, the “ice penalty shootout”, Llambi fell unhappily on his ribs. But he didn’t give up and it paid off. After the 13th game, “Turn countries”, he won the show with 63:28 points.

The conclusion of Joachim Llambi and DJ Bobo

The happy winner Joachim Llambi summed up after the show: “It was a great evening. The immediate support when I laid on my rib twice was great. Great team, perfectly organized. Thank you very much. I’m really happy that I came back like this and persevered but it really hurts now,” he admitted.

He was also full of praise for his opponent: “My opponent was the best opponent I could get. Not because I won. But because he is an absolute man of honor, always fair. Always a pleasure with DJ Bobo.” , enthuses the “Let’s Dance” star.

DJ Bobo was annoyed with himself: “It was very intense. The very first game flattened us both. You didn’t know for a second what was going to happen. Including an accident by Joachim on the ice, including building Christmas trees with the excavator. I had finally a big bet. The fact that I gave up so quickly in the end was what annoyed me the most. I would have liked to have continued, but things didn’t work out the way I had hoped for the countries,” he concluded.

In the next issue of “Beat the Star” on February 4, 2023, moderator Johannes B. Kerner (58) will compete live with actor Moritz Bleibtreu (51) on ProSieben.
