Just friends, now competitors: Axel Stein and Tom Beck are fighting for victory in “Schlag den Star” on Saturday evening.
On Saturday evening, close friends are likely to become bitter competitors. Then the two actors Axel Stein (41) and Tom Beck (45) will compete in a show duel for victory and 100,000 euros in prize money on “Schlag den Star” (8:15 p.m. live on ProSieben and Joyn).
“If Axel is stone, I am paper”
The decades-long friendship that binds the two will probably have a break from broadcasting for a maximum of 15 game rounds. They have known each other for a long time and have already appeared in front of the camera together (“Men’s Day”). No sheet of paper actually fits between the two best buddies Axel Stein and Tom Beck – until now.
Before the show duel on Saturday evening, both are confident of victory: “If Axel is stone, I am paper,” Tom Beck is convinced of his own triumph. Can he wrap up Stein in a direct duel? TV colleague Axel Stein counters harshly in the best boxer style: “After the show I’ll be extremely rich. I’ll knock Beck away!”
The evening will show who will hold the suitcase with the winner’s prize in their hands at the end and who will have to give in in the friendly duel. The show, produced by Brainpool, will be hosted as usual by Elton (52) and commented on by Ron Ringguth (57).
