- Dual Android/iOS compatibility (quick pairing, spatial Audio, geolocation)
- Intuitive and comprehensive controls
- Wired jack and USB-C operation
A significant improvement over the Studio Wireless 3, the Beats Studio Pro is nonetheless a headset that is behind on several points. Its active noise reduction notably shows obvious shortcomings, particularly in the bass, which clearly hampers its general isolation. In addition, the headset appears to be quite poor in terms of adjustments, since it does not feature any equalizer-type adjustment, nor any advanced ergonomic function. More subjectively, its very honest sound quality clashes with a shy personality at the bottom of the spectrum. The Studio Pro lacks a little impact and power, despite a certain energy.
Besides that, Beats offers very innovative ideas, such as dual Android/iOS compatibility. A unique feature, it allows the integration of functions such as quick pairing, Spatial Audio, or even access and geolocation, for both OS. In addition, this headset benefits from classic, but complete and intuitive, ergonomics. These advantages go hand in hand with full wired connectivity, both USB-C (24-bit/96 kHz interface) and jack.
By refining its technological formula, Beats could turn this headset into a success. As it stands, the Studio Pro hardly justifies its very high price.
