Amidst all the trends and innovations, real favorite products are sometimes not so easy to find. Our trainee and beauty lover Caro reveals which products have conquered her heart.

A look in my beauty bag shows that I really like trying out and testing new products. But there are also classics that I have not been able to do without for years. And absolutely never to be forgotten: skin care, which makes my complexion more even and reduces blemishes. Here I show you which products will never leave my cosmetic bag again.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

It is probably the product that has been part of my daily routine for the longest time and which I buy again and again. The Miracle Complexion Make-up Sponge gently works liquid textures into the skin without the make-up lying heavy on the face. I prefer to use it moistened and use it to apply concealer and foundation. The great thing about the sponge: Unlike many other tools, it is not only egg-shaped, but also has a slanted side that allows you to work precisely in the corner of the eye. If my skin is particularly oily one day, I don’t use a powder brush, but work in transparent powder with the sponge. For me an all-rounder that I would never want to be without again.

Super Glue Styling Gel by Schwarzkopf got2b

Here is one of my latest discoveries. I never use the got2b super glue to style my hair, it has been an integral part of my eyebrow routine for a few weeks. For a long time I was looking for a product that would keep my stubborn eyebrows in shape without them drooping again. The hype drew my attention to the super glue. What can I say? He’s a game changer! After filling in the brows, I only fix them with the gel, apply it with a brush and arrange the hairs the way they should stay all day. Then I press the hair lightly, which gives the style even more hold. The result is beautifully defined eyebrows that withstand wind and weather and are bomb-proof.

Purifying Gel Cleanser by Colibri Cosmetics

When it comes to what care products I put on my skin, I’m very careful. As a teenager, cleansing had to be as aggressive as possible to avoid pimples and oily skin. A fallacy, because the more drying the products, the more sebum the skin produces. Today I rely on a lot of moisture and gentle textures to cleanse my face, which unfortunately still tends to be blemished. The Purifying Gel Cleanser is gel-like without being too heavy. I only need a small amount of the product for cleansing because it foams gently on the face. The best thing for me: It is completely odorless and fragrance-free. A product that finally gets my problem skin under control.

SUNNE Lifting Modeling Powder by &Gretel

Ever since I accidentally tried the product, I’ve been using it almost every day. The Lifting Modellage Powder is a duo of contour powder and a peach-colored blush. The tone for contouring is really nice and ashy, giving the face a lifting effect without turning orange or looking too tanned. But what I love the most is the blush color. I apply it to the cheekbones and often pull the product up to the eyes so that the color is reflected on the lid and results in a harmonious overall concept. The blush makes me look fresh and radiant, the contour powder gives my face more definition. That’s how I like it!

They’re Real Mascara by Benefit

Just a year ago, eyes accentuated with black eyeliner were part of my everyday look. That has changed in the meantime and it can be a bit simpler in my face. What hasn’t changed is my love for mascara lashes. Because it makes your eyes look bigger. The “They’re Real Mascara” is the perfect product for my eyelashes. The rubber brush grabs even the shortest hairs, gives them a rich black mascara and ensures that the lashes stay in place all day long and don’t eventually fall back into their straight shape. But I like to help out with an eyelash curler and brush the eyelashes between the first and second layer of mascara – this avoids flylegs and makes the look look more natural. Never again without.
