Travis Kelce isn’t accompanying Taylor Swift to the Grammys

Travis Kelce won’t be able to support his nominee Taylor Swift at the Grammys on Sunday because of the Super Bowl.
Many were hoping that Taylor Swift (34) and Travis Kelce (34) would make their official red carpet debut at the upcoming Grammy Awards on February 4th (local time) in Los Angeles. Now the football star has to disappoint his fans and those of his famous partner. Due to the upcoming The NFL star will not have time for the award ceremony during the Super Bowl on February 11th.
Travis Kelce: “I wish I could support Taylor”
“I wish I could support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award she’s nominated for,” Kelce said Wednesday on the “Pat McAfee Show” about his girlfriend, who is nominated for a total of six Grammys. But his current and training-intensive schedule doesn’t allow this.
“Unfortunately I have to prepare for this big old Super Bowl that we have in a week,” Kelce said literally. He assumes that the Grammy weekend will be used for traveling and training for him and his team.
Victory kiss goes around the world
On February 11, Kelce will be on the Super Bowl field in Las Vegas with his Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers. The football star sealed his team’s entry into the NFL grand final last Sunday when the Chiefs won 17:10 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Girlfriend Taylor Swift once again supported her boyfriend from the VIP stands at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. After Kelce’s triumph, the singer made her way to the field to congratulate her loved one on the victory. The athlete was surrounded by teammates and cameras – but that didn’t stop the couple from hugging and kissing in the crowd. The pictures of the two went around the world.
It is currently assumed that Taylor Swift will not miss her boyfriend’s Super Bowl performance. However, this also means scheduling stress for the singer. The 34-year-old has another appearance in Tokyo on February 10th. Thanks to the time difference, the frequent flyer could make it to the important game.
