Taking advantage of the PC Gaming Show, tinyBuild and Hologryph unveiled sand, an open-world PVPVE set in a post-apocalyptic streampunk universe. Players are immersed in the desolate wastelands of the fallen planet of Sophie. The objective is simple. Get your hands on all the possible resources but also on the treasures hidden here and there.
To navigate steep terrain as easily as possible, you’ll need to design and upgrade your own Trampler. A kind of walking robot capable of crossing these hostile territories. But the Trampler isn’t just your means of transportation. It also serves as your main base where you can store all your loot. Moreover, by teaming up with other players, you can pool your resources and make your Trampler the ultimate mobile base.
To unearth the most valuable treasures, your crew will have to explore former abandoned urbanized islands and then survive the return trip. But it won’t be a walk in the park as rival crews will be there to end your journey.
If for the moment, no release date has been announced for Sand, we know however that the title should see the light of day on PC and next-gen consoles.
