Announced in spring 2021, V Rising is the next game from Stunlock Studios hitherto known for developing the arena fighting game Battlerite. This new title will launch on May 17, 2022 in early access on Steam.
An open-world action game, V Rising lets you play as a vampire just out of his coffin and weakened after centuries of slumber. You will therefore have to go in search of fresh blood that you can find during your hunts in the neighboring colonies or on the creatures that will cross your path. Be careful, however, to pay attention to the day/night cycle for your excursions and above all not to expose yourself to the sun.
Your goal is simple. Build your own castle and at the same time develop your vampire empire, to the point of becoming the new Dracula. To do this, you will also have to develop your skills and loot the surrounding villages, transform humans into your faithful servants.
If you will of course be able to play alone, you can also forge some alliances online. You will be stronger to face the most powerful creatures and humans. But you will also be able to attack other players’ castles to expand your empire. Allies or foes, the choice is yours.
