Beem is booming and moving from Plug & Play solar stations to a complete domestic ecosystem

Beem Energy completes its original concept of designer and Plug & Play solar panel, the Beem Kit, with a complete energy ecosystem. In addition to new photovoltaic panels, Beem Energy also offers an intelligent battery system, aimed either at energy autonomy or substantial savings

Beem is one of the French precursors of Plug & Play solar panels. A very general public offering which offers extremely simple installation, elegantly designed panels and an application that is as clear as it is intuitive. The manufacturer is taking the next step with no less than three new products which complement its existing offering. The ambition is simple and clear: accelerate the energy transition of French households and help them become more independent in terms of energy, production and storage.

Beem Energy wants to campaign for your energy autonomy

The brand’s offering is based around its application already available for its Plug & Play Beem Kit panels. Each of the new products is fully integrated with it for monitoring of its production and soon its energy storage in real time. The company is therefore launching no less than three flagship products: Beem On, Beem Roof and Beem Battery, each playing a key role in this new energy ecosystem.

Beem On

This Plug & Play solar panel loses the design aspect of the Beem Kit. However, the manufacturer is forgiven by a power of 460 Wp, compared to 300 Wp or 420 Wp for the Beem Kit. In addition, the price is 490 euros compared to 499 euros for the Beem Kit 300 Wc and 699 euros for the 420 Wc. The installation is designed to be done on the ground, against a wall or a balcony railing. It offers a tilt system similar to that used by deckchairs. This way, you can very easily change the inclination of the panels depending on the season.

The Beem On has a much more classic design and dimensions of 2 mx 1.2 m. In addition, it incorporates bifacial panel technology, so the underside of the panel can produce energy if light hits it. The Beem On is designed to easily adapt to different roof configurations and is accompanied by an intuitive application for efficient management of the energy produced.

Users can thus achieve average annual savings of 240 euros over a period of 25 years. Figures valid for an installation in the city of Nantes.

Beem Roof

With Beem Roof, the French company is taking it to the next level. This is a tailor-made photovoltaic panel installation service offer. The offer starts at 9,000 euros (6,000 euros in aid deducted) for a standard system of 3 kWp, 4.5 kWp or 6 kWp. A solution which allows, for example, a household in Nantes to reduce energy expenditure by up to 28,000 euros over 20 years and can bring the energy autonomy of an average household to 40%.

Beem Battery

This modular energy storage battery is the keystone of energy autonomy seen by Beem. It consists of storage modules with an integrated hybrid inverter. It allows users to store excess energy produced during the day for later use, providing energy autonomy of up to 80%. In the event of an outage, the Beem Battery provides autonomy of up to 24 hours.

In addition, you can inject current on demand to meet certain needs, and thus optimize your production and consumption of solar electricity. According to the brand, a Beem Roof 6 kWp installation combined with the Beem Battery 6.7 kWh ensures autonomy of 78%, generating cumulative savings of around 37,000 euros over 20 years for a Nantes household. If installation is mainly carried out by professionals, experienced DIYers can also carry out the operation.

This product will not be sold alone, but only combined with Beem panels (Plug & Play and on the roof). Prices start at 7,500 euros (installation by the user) for the first case and 11,900 euros (aid deducted) in the second. To mark the launch, the first 100 projects will benefit from an exclusive discount of 500 euros.
