BEEP announces Radirgy 2 on PS4, PS5 and Switch

Launched in 2006 on the consoles of the time and, therefore, the Dreamcast, Radirgy went largely under the radar in the West, a North American release having been canceled at the time due to lack of interest from distributors on the new continent. It’s a shoot em up vertical that combines retro aesthetics and low poly in a style close to danmaku very fashionable at the time in the genre. We had to wait for the next generation and obviously a release on Xbox 360, the console that brought together all the shmups of the market, to finally be able to play it at home.

As the Tokyo Game Show approaches, the Japanese publisher BEEP announces the publication of a sequel soberly titled Radirgy 2, and developed by RS34, a studio already in charge of the franchise for a few years. While it’s unclear when the game will be released, we do know that it will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch, and will be playable at Konami’s booth at the Tokyo Game Show next week.
