King Charles III: First audience after comeback appearance

King Charles III, 75, is not only fit and vital, but also hardworking again. After his comeback appearance last Tuesday (April 30) in London, the monarch held another audience at Buckingham Palace on May 1st. Already on the way from Clarence House towards the palace he was in a good mood.

There, Charles also spoke about his diagnosis, which was a “bit of a shock” for him. Just hours after the public appointment, the British monarch continued his cancer treatment.

Previously, Charles only attended appointments in the palace for a few weeks. Only at Easter did he attend the traditional service in St. George’s Chapel.
