(CercleFinance.com) – Believe announces that several funds managed by TCV and EQT as well as its CEO Denis Ladegaillerie, have decided to form a consortium with the aim of initiating a purchase offer (OPA) on all Believe shares in circulation.
This takeover bid would come after an additional stake in Believe’s capital by the consortium, via the repurchase of shares held by TCV Luxco BD Sàrl, Ventech and XAnge, historical shareholders of the digital music company.
Subject to the completion of this block acquisition, the takeover bid should be filed with the AMF during the second quarter of 2024. The price of 15 euros per share reflects a premium of 21% on the last closing price.
