Are Ben Affleck and ex-wife Jennifer Garner planning a film together? If so, a premiere would be coming thanks to the thriller “Animals”.
Ben Affleck (51) has now found happiness in love with Jennifer Lopez (54). But another Jennifer is and remains an important part of his life: He and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner (51) have three children Violet (18), Seraphina (15) and Samuel (11) – and apparently soon a Netflix -Project. As the industry site “The Hollywood Reporter” reports, Garner is in discussion for the female lead in Affleck’s new film “Animals.”
Although nothing has been signed yet, negotiations are in full swing. Should Garner decide to accept the part in the crime thriller directed by Affleck, she would immediately meet another well-known face: Matt Damon (53), with whom Affleck and Garner have been best friends for ages officially announced as the male lead of the flick.
Affleck himself will apparently not be in front of the camera. In addition to his work as a director, he will act as the producer of “Animals” together with Damon; the script was written by Connor McIntyre (63). Meanwhile, Garner is one of the last remaining pieces of the puzzle – if she agrees promptly, filming in Los Angeles could begin as early as March, according to the report.

“Animals” is about a candidate for mayor, played by Matt Damon, who experiences an absolute nightmare with his wife (possibly Jennifer Garner): in the middle of the election campaign, their son is kidnapped. The couple then has to do their own bloody work to get their child back unharmed.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were married from 2005 to 2013 and appeared in front of the camera together several times. Both appeared in the film “Pearl Harbor” (2001), as well as the superhero film “Daredevil” (2003) and its spin-off “Elektra” (2005). But she has never received directing instructions from him.
