Around 1.2 million customers of Wien Energie Vertrieb GmbH und Co KG will soon receive mail with a particularly good offer: the energy service provider is significantly reducing electricity and gas prices. If you sign up for a year, you get 190 free energy days for electricity and 50 for natural gas. The electricity price is therefore 20.3 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh), the gas price is 7.9 cents/kWh. An average Viennese household with an annual consumption of 2,000 kilowatt hours of electricity and 8,000 kilowatt hours of gas saves around 610 euros with the new offer. Since July 6, the electricity and gas offers can be found online at www.wienenergie.at/angebote or taken out from the Wien Energie customer service.
