Bénéteau raises its current operating margin forecast for 2023


(AOF) – Bénéteau posted net income, group share, up 121.6% in the first half, to 117.1 million euros compared to 52.9 million a year ago. The pleasure craft specialist raises its current operating margin forecast for 2023 to 12% compared to 11.5% previously, and confirms the turnover forecast for its Boat division for the year, which should reach 1.45 billion dinars. euros (+16% over one year). Half-year turnover reached 1.02 billion compared to 715 million a year ago (+43.8%).

Ebitda increased 65.4% to 191.7 million euros compared to 115.9 million. Over the first half of 2023, the Group’s current operating profit reached 163.4 million euros on a like-for-like basis, or 15.9% of turnover.

“The 2023 results of the Beneteau Group, like this first half, benefit from the transformations of the last three years,” comments Bruno Thivoyon, Managing Director of the Beneteau Group. “The progress made on the various levers of our strategic plan thanks to the work of the Group’s 8,000 employees therefore allows us to confirm our 2025 objectives.”
