The marriage was not easy for Maurine, who found herself very anxious on D-Day in front of her husband Benjamin. Despite this, their honeymoon in Morocco allowed them to get closer.
Getting married without having met: this is the concept of Married at first sightbroadcast every Monday on M6 and previewed on 6play. The principle has something to disturb the candidates, even though they volunteered. This is the case of Maurine, who appeared very stressed, even flabbergasted on D-Day, which worried the experts. The 30-year-old Spanish teacher put a lot of pressure on herself to please her family. Exceptional fact: her relatives were able to meet those of her husband, Benjamin, before the ceremony. During the evening after the wedding, Maurine managed to relax a little and be more tactile with her husband. And the couple seems to have become closer during their honeymoon, in Fez in Morocco.
It is on Benjamin’s Instagram account that we can glean some clues about their escapade. A video shows the 27-year-old nurse and his wife having fun in a car. Benjamin grabs a camera himself, visibly helped by a cameraman from the show, under Maurine’s hilarious gaze. It also suggests the enticing program of their honeymoon : a hearty breakfast on the terrace, a Moroccan tea served by Benjamin, or even a beautiful photo session in a swimming pool. Sequences punctuated by shots where the couple appears smiling and relaxed. “We still had a good laugh and discovered a place that was just incredible. Thanks again to the experience Married at first sight for allowing us to live this moment”wrote Benjamin in the description.
