The time has come for Benjamin Castaldi to take stock of his rich career. In an interview with Jade and Eric Dussart in We remake the TV sure RTL, the chronicler of TPMP returned to his career as an animator. Of Loft Story, at Secret Story through the New star, Benjamin Castaldi has a solid experience within the PAF. A status that allowed him to earn a good living, to the point of touching the million for several years.
If he joined the ranks of C8 for several months, Cyril Hanouna's acolyte has been perfectly remembers his time at TF1. In particular the period when he had requested the animation of The Voice in 2012. A responsibility that has been refused by the channel. The presenter spoke of what he said justified such a refusal. "I was no longer in the smell of holiness. It's not for lack of asking for it at the time, I demanded it loud and clear", he assured.

According to Benjamin Castaldi the multiple problems he had at the time did not allow TF1 to give him the animation of The Voice. "I think I had a motorcycle accident which upset them. I disappeared from the air", he said before discussing his money worries:"I started to have very significant financial problems. So there are bailiffs who must arrive in the premises of TF1. I have wages that they seize. It's a lot. It looks bad". Jean-Pierre Castaldi's son admits to having"worried the chain". A reaction that he seems to understand well:"It was quite logical since we don't like unhappiness and it is therefore very logical that they did not trust me at all for that". A demand that he does not regret : "Frankly, I would have loved to do it. Me, I'm not one of those who spit in the soup". Fair play, Benjamin Castaldi even rejoiced for his colleague Nikos:"They took Nikos and they did well. Either way, it's normal. With Nikos, there was one too many on the channel".
