A twist in the Benjamin Mendy affair! His trial could soon speed up following the decision of Steven Everett, the judge of the Chester Court, to accept a decision by a majority of the jurors, and not unanimously as was the case until now. This reversal, announced this Wednesday, follows the inability of the jurors to agree in full, after having started their deliberation on December 5 and still not having succeeded in delivering a unanimous rendering on the fate of Benjamin Mendy. As a reminder, the eleven members of the jury (a twelfth was excused for medical reasons) entered their twelfth day of deliberation on Wednesday, taking into account an interruption during the end of year celebrations. A majority decision could well solve this problem of disagreement and precipitate the future of the footballer….

During a hearing on November 7, he explained be more in demand by women since his transfer to Manchester. “I started getting a lot of messages on Instagram“, he explained before adding: “The way I spoke to women was direct. If they wanted sex and I did too, that was fine with me. I know I’m not Brad Pitt and I know women didn’t come to me for what I look like.“
