On Cameron Diaz’s birthday, Benji Madden interrupts his Instagram break and congratulates his “queen” with loving words.
“I’m a really lucky man”
The musician rarely speaks on Instagram. But on special occasions he returns to show his love for his queen, he begins his post. “Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife, best friend, best partner in everything, the most amazing mom to our little girl, wine chef, family chef and so much more,” he captioned a snap of his wife.
He is so thankful for his family. “I’m a really happy man,” he continues, affirming his boundless love. The actress’ answer was not long in coming. “There is no one I would rather spend my life with. We are so blessed, I love you with all my heart,” Diaz commented on her husband’s post, garnished with many red hearts.
retreat to family life
After only seven months of dating, Diaz married guitarist for rock band Good Charlotte in January 2015. In 2019, their daughter Raddix Chloe Wildflower Madden saw the light of day. For Diaz it was a great lifelong dream, for which she had to fight for a long time and for which she gave up her acting career.
She devoted herself fully to her family, but also found the time to publish several books on topics ranging from nutrition to sleep to exercise. In 2020, the wine lover and a friend launched their own wine brand called “Avaline”.
She probably won’t let go of acting after all. Diaz was recently in front of the camera alongside Jamie Foxx (55) for the Netflix film “Back in Action”. It is her first film after retiring from acting in 2018.
