Best entertainment anywhere: Compact Apple iPad mini with 5G on offer at Lidl

Apple’s tablets are not only suitable for surfing, streaming or playing games, but of course also for working, not least in combination with a Bluetooth keyboard or Apple Pencil. The manufacturer now offers its devices in a variety of sizes, with the iPad mini being particularly compact with an 8.3-inch screen. This is currently available at Lidl at a really good price.

The iPad mini is the first choice for fans of compact Apple tablets. In the test, the iPad mini 6 scored points, among other things, for its practical form factor, support for the Apple Pencil 2 and high performance. The only deductions were for the 60 Hertz display and the non-expandable storage space.

The Lidl model is the variant with 64 gigabytes of storage space and an integrated mobile radio module with support for the 5G network. Another advantage: The Cellular version has GPS integrated, so you can also use the tablet for navigation – if you want.

The iPad mini 6 went on sale at the end of September 2021. Even though it is now two and a half years old, it still offers enough performance for demanding applications. You will also receive software updates for a few years.

The iPad mini 6 currently costs 719 euros at Lidl. Apple itself charges 849 euros, other retailers start at 759 euros. So the offer is really good.
