Michelle Hunziker will also be at Thomas Gottschalk’s side for the next issue of “Wetten, dass..?” on November 19th.
The next “Wetten, dass..?” issue is taking shape. As ZDF announces, Michelle Hunziker (45) is again present as co-moderator of Thomas Gottschalk (72). On November 19, 2022, ZDF will broadcast the program live at 8:15 p.m. from Friedrichshafen.
Stunning comeback
On November 6, 2021, more than 14 million viewers tuned in when “Wetten, dass…?” celebrated its anniversary edition. “We are very happy about the great success of the anniversary edition. A sequel was actually never planned. In view of the great response, however, we will certainly think about it again,” said ZDF program director Dr. Norbert Himmler back then after the show.
The sequel was officially announced earlier this year. ZDF entertainment director Oliver Heidemann explained: “The response from the TV audience was overwhelming. Together with Thomas Gottschalk, we decided to tell the story of ‘Wetten, dass..?’ continue to write. From now on, all betting ideas are welcome again.”
Michelle Hunziker supported Thomas Gottschalk for the first time in 2009 as a co-moderator on “Wetten, dass…?”. When the moderator resigned on December 3, 2011, Hunziker also stopped.
