Comedian Sophia Bush recalls the situation: ” Because [mon personnage] Brooke was so sexualized on the show and it had to do with Rachel’s plot, I thought to myself: “If the girls want to do it, great. And that’s not all ! The actresses remember how the creator of the series, Mark Schwahn, had a totally inappropriate behavior during this photo session. It’s Hilarie Burton’s turn to speak and say that he went to the set with a gift for her: “It was an iPod that he had loaded with music he had chosen for me. He wanted Sophia to see him to put her in her place, and he wanted Danneel to see him to try to make her jealous. Who does that with a bunch of 24-year-olds?” A situation “scary and uncomfortable” for young actresses who at the time felt absolutely insecure on the set of the series.
