Accused of rape and sexual assault by several women, Gérard Miller has just broken his silence. The famous psychoanalyst formally denies the facts with which he is accused.
The famous psychoanalyst Gérard Miller has been in turmoil for several days. It all started on January 31, when the magazine SHE published an investigation in which several women accuse Laurent Ruquier’s former columnist of having attacked or raped them. All then described a well-established modus operandi of the psychoanalyst who did not hesitate to practice hypnosis to abuse his alleged victims.
This Wednesday, February 7, 2024, it’s the newspaper’s turn Mediapart to publish another survey. Here again, ten other women accuse the famous psychoanalyst of having sexually assaulted them or of having behaved inappropriately with them.
The facts denounced by these new alleged victims date from 1995, for the oldest, to 2016, for the most recent. Also, three of these victims assure that they were still minors at the time of the attacks and rapes.

Gérard Miller defends himself through a long letter
Like the first witnesses, these ten new victims explain having been abused after a hypnosis session or after being served alcohol… These new accusations then pushed Gérard Miller to break his silence. In a very long message published on X (formerly Twitter), the psychoanalyst begins by stating that he does not question the anger, emotion and suffering of the women who have expressed themselves in recent days.
The 75-year-old man, however, deplores the fact that they “recall events that took place 30 years ago and they talk about them as if they took place yesterday” then assures that he does not “never force anyone”. Talking about his unbridled sexuality and his many sexual partners over the yearsGérard Miller declares that he “sufficiently assured of the consent of women” with which he “engaged on the path of seduction”especially when there was a big age difference between them.
Regarding the modus operandi described by the victimsthe accused man claims not to have “never practiced hypnosis either in his office with patients, or more generally at home” but only in his office. He therefore questions the locations of the alleged attacks. In conclusion, Gérard Miller regrets having been so easily in contact with young women, he who was very well known at the time.
