Between the price increase at the end of 2022 and fairly timid new catalog releases thereafter, 2023 will have been a fairly average year for subscribers to Prime Video. To compensate the upcoming arrival of advertising (and the new price increase that will accompany it), Amazon will have to work harder in 2024. Here is what is planned for this.
While its vast project to adapt the Warhammer 40,000 universe with Henry Cavill and Games Workshop is officially underway, Amazon has decided to give a preview of what is coming to Prime Video subscribers in the nearer future. For this, the firm published, like Max a few days ago, a trailer which condenses the films and series coming in early 2024. Other things are planned, but the images are probably not ready…
Amazon unveils its 2024 series…
Let’s get rid of the fact right away that we can’t find season 2 of Rings of Power in this trailer. A release at the end of 2024, however, remains entirely possible. Another big piece awaited for a while, season 4 of The Boys she will be there. Same thing for the second part of season 2 ofInvinciblenormally timed for January, but nevertheless absent from Prime Video’s monthly tweet… To finish with the obvious, fallout (which has already shown its trailer) is also included in the video, since its release is scheduled for April 12, 2024.
Amazon also reminds that new seasons for Outer RangeEdit And Them will arrive next year. Finally, four new series are mentioned. Mr. and Mrs. Smith first of all, with Donald Glover and Maya Erskine to take the place of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in the shoes of the famous couple from the 2005 film. Still regarding the pretty castings, Nicole Kidman will be found in Expats in January. Finally, Amazon lists Reina Roja (February) and the animated series Hazbin Hotel (FEBRUARY).

Will 2024 be the year when Prime Video finally offers quality films? In any case, nine, with visibly quite varied styles (comedy, action, romance, music, etc.), are listed in the Amazon video: Upgraded, Musica, The Idea of You, Foe, Ricky Stanicky, Role Play, Road House, This Is Me Now: The Film And The Underdogs. Stars like Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway are notably there.
