beware of this fraudulent SMS

A fuel allowance of 100 euros has been available for 10 million households since January 16. Claim aid until February 28 on impots.gouv.fr, and only on this site. Disregard text messages promoting the fuel allowance. It’s a fraud.

It is an aid of 100 euros intended for 10 million households. Since Monday, January 16, it is possible to claim the fuel allowance which takes over from the rebate at the pump set up last year. But beware, to apply for this bonus, you must make an official request on impots.gouv.fr. And only on this site.

The General Directorate of Public Finances (DGFiP) warns individuals about a campaign currently being Fraudulent SMS on the fuel allowance. She explains that she does not send SMS to promote the fuel allowance and that the only official site to make her request is impots.gouv.fr.

The first premium payments are underway

On Monday, the government announced that only 3 million households had so far made a request to receive this bonus of 100 euros. This can be done until February 28. All you have to do is enter your tax number and the number of the vehicle’s license plate, then fill out a declaration on your honor indicating that you need a car to go to work. The request is processed in 8 days before receiving the 100 euros in your bank account. The first payments from the DGFiP began on Friday.

To check your eligibility for this aid, the tax authorities have set up an online simulator. It is reserved for households with a lower reference tax income 14700 euros in 2021, i.e. 1314 euros net per month for a single person, for example. A modest couple who works and owns two vehicles can also benefit from two fuel bonuses, either 200 euros in total.
