Beyoncé ended the old year with a video that recalls 2020. Shown in it: her children Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir.

On New Year's Eve (December 31), Beyoncé (39, "Halo") surprised her fans on Instagram with a cinematic review of the year 2020. In addition to the 21-time Grammy award winner, it also includes her three children with rapper Jay-Z (51, "The Blueprint"), Blue Ivy (8), Rumi and Sir (both 3).

The nearly four-minute video shows some of Beyoncé's best moments from 2020, the year her visual album "Black Is King" was released on Disney +. It also includes some cute private photos of her children. One of them shows three-year-old Rumi, who dances to the remix version of her mother's Megan Thee Stallions (25) hit "Savage". "Did you have a nice summer?" Beyoncé asks her little one sitting in a golf kart, whereupon she nods her head.

Another excerpt shows Rumi and her twin brother Sir with their famous mom during a photo shoot for Beyoncé's "Ivy Park x Adidas" collection. And the firstborn of the star from Texas and her New York husband is not neglected in the video. The eight-year-old Blue Ivy, who Beyoncé is already emulating with vigor, can be seen recording in the recording studio, among other things.

Beyoncé: "To a better and brighter 2021!"

"Cheers, to a new year, Beyhive !!" wrote the musician to her followers on the social media platform. "2020 separated us and united us. Most of them couldn't see their loved ones, we felt too many losses." The 39-year-old summed up the people, however, were united by their "humanity". "This year for me it was about celebrating joy, chasing happiness and living lovingly."

For 2021, Beyoncé advised her followers to honor "themselves and those you love". They should also celebrate the fact that "you are an important individual who contributes something to our beautiful whole". "To a better and brighter 2021!"
