BHL – Israel, Gaza, Iran: Lessons from the Three-Day War



VSWar isn’t pretty.

Never.

And, the more time passes, the more unbearable the very idea, in a war, of victims or “collateral” damage seems to me.

However, this three-day confrontation between Islamic Jihad and Israel has been the subject of comments so absurd, so unreasonable and, at times, so contrary to the truth that we feel compelled to recall the following obvious facts.

Israel targeted its fire, Islamic Jihad launched its rockets blindly.

Israel was targeting tunnels, arsenals and, of course, men commanding an army whose aim was to destroy it; Islamic Jihad struck towns and villages populated only by civilians.

It was Islamic Jihad, not Israel, that took the foolish risk of firing on Jerusalem and it was at the Dome…
