Biathlon World Cup – Pokljuka: Hauser/Eder in the top 5 in the single mixed

The Austrian duo Lisa Hauser/Simon Eder finished fifth in the single mixed relay on the final day of the Biathlon World Cup in Pokljuka. In difficult conditions with wind and rain, they went without a penalty loop, but with ten spare rounds they were well behind the podium places.

Victory went to Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold/Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen from Norway, who won superiorly in front of couples from France and Switzerland. Finland was also ahead of Hauser/Eder, who had already won this discipline twice in 2017. In the subsequent mixed relay with two women and two men, David Komatz is replaced by Harald Lemmerer due to muscular problems. This forms the ÖSV team with Dunja Zdouc, Tamara Steiner and Felix Leitner.
