BIC posts annual turnover up 9.2%

February 19 (Reuters) – BIC reported an increase in annual revenue on Monday, thanks to double-digit growth recorded in Latin America and a sustained performance in Europe.

The group, which manufactures and markets stationery items, recorded a turnover of 2.26 billion euros in 2023, an increase of 9.2% at constant exchange rates compared to the previous year.

Adjusted operating profit increased by 6.9% and adjusted operating margin by 14.7%.

In 2024, BIC expects revenue growth between 5% and 7% at constant currencies, as well as a slight improvement in adjusted operating margin, which would be in line with its objectives for 2025.
