big problems with the servers and the PS Plus. The Stray effect?

Has Stray brought PlayStation Services to its knees? A major PSN outage occurred when the indie game launched on the PS Plus Extra and Premium.

Update: some time after the publication of this article, all the lights are green. The services are slowly coming back and everyone can finally download Stray or play online as normal.

Definitely, it’s not Sony’s day. Earlier today, some PS5 players were shocked to discover that they couldn’t grab FF7 Remake Intergrade for free with their PS Plus subscription. And now for almost two hours a PSN failure has arisen.

A big failure for the PSN, Stray in question?

Stray’s adorable little cat would have scratched the PlayStation servers? For a few hours now a PSN failure has been raging. After 7 p.m., several players could no longer access the online game, even with an active PS Plus subscription. It is therefore impossible to connect to FF14 or play multi Call of Duty, Fall Guys and others. A widespread problem that affects both account management, games and social networks and the PS Store depending on the state of PSN services.

This is not the first time this year that the problem has arisen. A PSN failure had struck last March after an update which had not failed to stir up the rumble of PS Plus subscribers. For some, the PS Plus subscription was no longer recognized and those affected were asked to go back to checkout. Nothing too extreme this time, but it seems that the release of Stray at the same time has damaged the PSN servers and other services. It must be said that since its announcement the title was particularly expected, but its day one release on the PS Plus Extra & Premium has exceptionally increased the hype. We’ll have to wait for the problem to be fixed so that everyone can download the game and go on an adventure with this adorable rouquemout.
