The Starnacht am Wörthersee is and remains the highlight of the Carinthian music summer. And the numbers speak for themselves: on the four days of the event, 22,000 fans made the pilgrimage to the arena in the east bay, almost three million TV viewers in Austria and Germany watched the show spectacle in their living rooms. “The viewers of the ORF-TVthek and on the Internet are not yet there,” says Gerfried Zmölnig from ip-media. Above all, the highlight, the live TV show on Saturday evening, was a hammer, the exuberant mood was not affected even by a half-hour downpour at halftime Cancellation.
