Two years after his divorce, Microsoft founder Bill Gates is said to have found a new love, according to media reports.
In August 2021, multi-billionaire Bill Gates (67) divorced Melinda French Gates (58) after more than 27 years of marriage. According to a report by the British “Daily Mail”. The Microsoft co-founder is said to be in a new relationship. The 67-year-old has allegedly been meeting Paula Hurd, widow of former Oracle boss Mark Hurd (1957-2019), for over a year. “They are inseparable,” an unnamed friend of the couple told the British newspaper.
Paula Hurd reportedly hasn’t met Bill Gates’ kids yet
“It is well known that Bill Gates and Paula Hurd are dating”, another source told the US magazine “People”. According to the insider, the 60-year-old has not yet met Gates’ children. Hurd and Gates share a love of tennis. They were photographed side by side at this year’s Australian Open in Melbourne. Before that, both of them regularly attended the same tennis tournaments over the years, but at that time they were still sitting separately from each other.
Hurd was married to ex-Oracle and Hewlett Packard CEO Mark Hurd from 1990 until his death in 2019, who was believed to be worth an estimated $500 million at the time of his death, according to the Daily Mail . The couple have two children together. Bill and Melinda French Gates have three children together. The oldest daughter Jennifer Gates (26) is currently expecting her first child.
