Bixente Lizarazu in a relationship with Claire Keim: why he is “lucky”


It was in 2006 that Claire Keim and Bixente Lizarazu met, in very special circumstances. Between the one who was in a relationship for seven years with Elsa Lunghini and the one who spent three years with the actor Frédéric Diefenthal, love at first sight was immediate. Seventeen years and a baby later, the two lovebirds are still in perfect love, just like on their first day. In an interview given to Madame Figaro published on Sunday March 31, the athlete returned to his relationship with his beloved: “She knew me as a professional footballer, and I am lucky that she accepts my sports addiction, which, even if it is healthy, is also very time-consuming…”

For the former footballer from the Basque Country, a particularity that he shares with Anne-Sophie Lapix, sport has been part of everyday life since childhood, during which it “touch all”. Today, he continues to practice daily, mainly endurance sports, including cycling, as he explained to our colleagues at Madame Figaro : “They have the virtue of cleaning. When I’m angry, I pedal to become a little lamb again.” The former footballer also practices sports for pleasure, such as skiing, as well as yoga, for “flexibility and mental balance”. An activity that is indeed time-consuming, but necessary for him, which defines sport as his “balance”and regularly posts videos of his exploits on Instagram.

Bixente Lizarazu: a fulfilled dad

Today, the former footballer is the happy father of two children, born from two different relationships. To his great happiness, his little blended family gets along wonderfully. It is with pleasure that Bixente Lizarazu’s eldest son, Tximista, joins his father, his little sister and his mother-in-law for the holidays, of which they sometimes share sweet moments on their social networks, while preserving the privacy of the youngest… In an interview with Leisure TVthe athlete confided the joy and pride he feels towards his son, “which measures like five meters”and his granddaughter, Uhaina, “who is so cute and adorable”. Despite their notoriety, the couple took care to offer the little girl a preserved childhood, in the sumptuous setting of the Basque Country.
