The Asus VivoBook 14x is a mid-range laptop from the Taiwanese manufacturer. With a 14-inch panel, it is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 processor identical to those used in laptops gaming. Enough to overcome any office and creative task.
The Asus VivoBook 14x offers good overall performance in a comfortable format, ideal for office automation sprinkled with a touch of content creation. The set is however tarnished by an imposing chassis and an IPS panel which would have deserved a better calibration.

By taking over the MagicBook Pro on its own, Huawei has corrected its main defect (the keyboard) and retained its main strong point (its screen). However, we would have liked a slightly newer processor, such as an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Zen 3 architecture. To make a perfect copy, Huawei would have been well advised to offer better speakers and a larger capacity battery – l Autonomy is on the other hand correct. We will finally settle for a free M.2 slot instead.
