Black Friday 2023 – The “5-star” Nvidia Shield TV Pro multimedia box at €183.00 (-11%)

The Shield TV Pro version 2019 takes the shape of the second generation Nvidia boxes. Under the hood, it nevertheless integrates the same new features as the Shield TV 2019: Dolby Vision compatibility and AI-assisted scaling.

The Shield TV Pro (2019) is a nice refresh of the classic Shield TV released in 2017. By returning to the same box, Nvidia is taking less risk than with its hit model – the Shield TV -, but don’t forget to as much to include the same new software and hardware features. The Shield TV Pro (2019) thus offers a good video scaling system (assisted by AI) or even Dolby Vision HDR management, all accompanied by an even faster chip and a convincing backlit remote control. Added to this is the manufacturer’s so far exemplary software monitoring as well as the possibility of playing streaming from Nvidia servers or from the family computer. In short, if this 2019 version is not the most surprising ever, the Shield TV Pro is undoubtedly a particularly successful Android TV multimedia box.

Alternatively

This third generation of Apple TV 4K benefits from a technical update to perfect its formula. A little smaller, without a fan and even more energy efficient, Apple’s little box is still just as pleasant to use with a neat, complete and ultra-fluid interface. If we can quibble about the absence of lighting of the remote control buttons, it is clear that we have here a high-end multimedia box which will undoubtedly appeal to streaming enthusiasts, whether they are immersed in the universe from Apple or not.
