Congstar lures in the Black Friday week with a tariff deal: 30 GB all-network flat rate in the Telekom network for 20 euros and, if desired, with a Samsung Galaxy A53 or Xiaomi 12 Lite. Is the deal worth it?

Not only smartphones, tablets and smartwatches drop in price on Black Friday, but also the associated mobile phone contracts. A deal from the Telekom subsidiary Congstar is currently attracting a lot of attention.
With the mobile phone provider you can get a monthly terminable all-network flat rate with 30 gigabytes of data volume for only 20 euros.

Without connection fee
You can use the included data volume of 30 gigabytes at up to 50 Mbit per second in Telekom’s LTE network. You have the choice of whether you want to commit yourself for 24 months when you sign the contract or whether you want to keep the option of canceling monthly. Nothing changes in the basic monthly price. The provider waives the connection fees of 15 euros for 24 months or 35 euros for monthly termination. The tariff also includes an all-network flat rate for telephony and SMS as well as EU roaming.

If you want, you can also get the Samsung Galaxy A53 extremely cheap. You can buy it for a one-time fee of 169 euros – a very good price, with other dealers the best price is 279 euros. Alternatively, you can abstain for the Xiaomi 12 Lite. In combination with the flat rate, this costs a one-time fee of 219 euros. This is also the best price for the mobile phone. You would normally pay almost 380 euros for the model online.
This is included in the tariff
In the Congstar tariff you get 30 gigabytes of data volume including LTE Internet with a maximum of 50 Mbit per second in Telekom’s D1 network. The faster 5G network is not available to you in this tariff.
With the Allnet-Flat you can make calls in all German mobile networks and in the fixed network. An SMS flat rate is also included in the tariff. Thanks to integrated EU roaming, you can also use your smartphone as usual and without hesitation within the EU. You can find out what costs are incurred abroad on the Congstar website.
You can choose a minimum contract term of at least 24 months for the tariff or book the contract without a term. Nothing changes in the price and conditions. There is no connection fee of 15 or 35 euros. If you want to take your phone number with you, there is a charge of 10 euros. The Black Friday offer ends on November 28th.
That’s how good the deal is
The offer is comparatively good. As a rule, you only get this much data volume if you commit to a provider for more than two years. However, the new Klarmobil brand Dr. Sim an even better deal. Here you get a monthly terminable all-network flat rate with 40 GB data volume – but in the Vodafone network.
