The Huawei MateView GT (without soundbar) is, as the name suggests, nearly identical to the Huawei MateView GT we tested, but lacking the USB-C port and soundbar which is far from shine with its performance.
With its 34-inch 165 Hz panel, the Huawei MateView GT (without soundbar) — a lighter version of the Huawei MateView GT audio system that we tested — is a very good monitor for gamers, but not only, since its very good factory calibration, its definition and its excellent native contrast make it a good choice for multimedia use (photo, video and office automation). We can simply blame it for FreeSync compatibility located in a hidden menu, the absence of a USB hub and USB-C port.

The Asus TUF Gaming VG279QM is an excellent gaming monitor aimed primarily at performance enthusiasts. Although originally calibrated, it lacks a bit of contrast and a USB hub to be perfect. It is today the most responsive IPS monitor on the market and remains the only one able to compete with the most powerful TN models. It is a product of choice for cyberathletes. The others will gladly turn to the AOC 27G2U, which is a little less responsive and limited to 144 Hz, but also less expensive.
