Black Myth Wukong: The game unveils an impressive new gameplay video on the Unreal Engine 5

One might think that the first graphic slaps offered by theUnreal Engine 5 would come from the big publishers already well established on the market, but studios unknown to the battalion steal the show from these behemoths. GameScience has repeatedly shown its ambitions with Black Myth Wukongan action-RPG that draws its influences from the souls and in more dynamic action games. The studio is getting everyone on board again today with two videos, including a spectacular gameplay video.

The next-gen slap, is it with him?

We are therefore already entitled to 8 minutes of gameplay in the middle of the forest, first with an imposing monster that gives our monkey hero a lot of trouble. This presentation video wonderfully illustrates the capabilities of the Unreal Engine 5, with lush sets and remarkable lighting work, well helped by ray-tracing and NVIDIA DLSS technology.

Needless to say, it makes you want to get lost and discover the world of gaming, which is ever more promising. We see an impressive boss fight at the end, with a strange transformation that adds mystery around the game. And as that was not enough, the studio also offers us 6 minute cinematicwhich put more emphasis on motion-capture and the rendering of in-game humans.

Unfortunately, these videos do not give still no release date for Black Myth Wukongwhich is planned for “current consoles” (likely PS5 and Xbox Series) as well as PC.
