Almost as legendary as the Chinese myth it is inspired by, Black Myth Wukong finally comes into reality via a release date.
The title from the independent Chinese studio Game Science, which has impressed many times with its superb visuals and its absolutely epic breath, is therefore no longer the eternal Arlesian that we thought. It’s time to arm ourselves with our stick and head west, with a departure date announced for August 20, 2024, on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The Chinese myth finally becomes a reality
Announced for the very first time in 2020, Black Myth Wukong immediately blew away players thanks to its sumptuous graphics and truly epic staging. The game looked so good that many thought it was just a tech demo.
Patience is the mother of virtue, and now we finally know the release date of Game Science’s independent game: August 20, 2024. This was announced via the trailer in the introduction to this article, which impresses us once again with its titanic scale.
The gameplay doesn’t seem to be left out either, with nervous and dynamic fights against gargantuan creatures that don’t have to be ashamed of a certain God of War. The journey to the west promises to be fraught with pitfalls, and we hope that the result with controller (or keyboard/mouse) in hand will prove to be up to the task. See you in August, stick in hand (and machine hooked up to PC), to begin this epic journey!
