Linz coach Philipp Lukas: “It wasn’t us”
Red Bull had already supported the Salzburg club SEC as a sponsor in 1987/88. EC Red Bull Salzburg was founded in 2000, and with promotion to the Bundesliga in 2004, the group took over the club completely and restructured it. The impressive Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy has been around since 2014.
