On the verge of his 70th birthday, Liam Neeson is always ready to do battle. The actor returns to the big screen with “Black Light”, a thriller directed by Mark Williams, to be discovered in dark rooms from February 23.
In this anticipated action film, the star of Taken slips into the skin of Travis Block, a federal agent involved in a secret FBI program.
But when the hero notices the existence of a terrible machination in his own ranks, he will do everything to bring out the truth.
To do this, Liam Neeson will not hesitate to turn his methods against the people for whom he worked, especially if his family is attacked. Unlike “Taken”, it was not his daughter, but his granddaughter who was abducted, evidently by her former employers.
Between chases, shootings, and explosions, this feature film seems to leave no respite to the spectators.
On the casting side, we will also find Aidan Quinn (“Without identity”), Taylor John Smith (Besieged), Emmy Raver-Lampman (“Umbrella Academy”), Claire Van Der Boom (“Hawaii 5-0”), or even Yael Stone (“Orange is the new black”).
This isn’t the first time director Mark Williams and Liam Neeson have collaborated. The filmmaker had indeed directed the actor in “The Good Criminal” (2020).
