The “Bild am Sonntag” has published an almost empty newspaper page for Green Chancellor candidate Annalena Baerbock (40). “This is your page, Ms. Baerbock!” Was the headline of the eighth page of her current issue. After weeks of hesitation, Baerbock rejected an interview with the “BamS” because no date could be found, the newspaper justified the unusual publication.
Baerbock is the first green top candidate who has not found time for an interview with “Bild am Sonntag”, one of the most cited media in Germany. In the past, Joschka Fischer (73), Renate Künast (65), Jürgen Trittin (67), Katrin Göring-Eckardt (55) and Cem Özdemir (55) took the time for an interview. (AFP)
