In June 2021, Blick successfully launched its own news portal in western Switzerland. Just six months after launch, Blick Romandie has more than 1.4 million visits per month and impresses with exclusive stories. With its own app called “Blick I fr”, the latest product from the Blick Group takes another big step forward. Available in the App Store for Apple and Android.
The new app was developed by an internal IT team. Its content and features are based on the brand values of the Blick Group: Clear, bold, groundbreaking and close. And thanks to push notifications, it offers faster access to all relevant content and exclusive news. The innovative range of videos and podcasts from our own Creative Lab is now even easier to find.
Just a week after its launch, “Blick I fr” is already at the top of the download charts for news offers in the App Store and is receiving numerous positive reviews from users.

A major advertising campaign will be rolled out in western Switzerland for the launch. From Monday, various image subjects on the topics of crime, ice hockey and football will be advertising for the app. In addition to posters, advertising on screens, advertisements and mobile and social ads, the campaign can be seen on over 700 posters in public transport. Eye-catcher in February: a 7 meter wide mega poster at the Lausanne Flon metro station.
