Bloodborne finally on PC, but not as expected

Bloodborne is a FromSoftware game that left its mark on fans with its unique atmosphere and its gothic city, Yharnam, as gloomy as it is seductive. But since its release, players have been desperately waiting for a sequel or a PC version.

Since 2015, Bloodborne fans have been watching for any information on a potential sequel or PC version. To satisfy this desire, players embark on most Souls-like games which take up this gothic atmosphere so dear to the initial game. It is in this context of endless waiting that Lies of P arrived. The game from the Koreans of Neowiz is quickly considered as one of the spiritual successors of the FromSoftware title and for this reason it received a fairly warm welcome. However, players are finding similarities between the two games and some have decided to push the screw even further.

A crossover between Lies of P and Bloodborne?

As soon as it was announced, Lies of P established itself as a perfect Bloodborne-like to await a possible sequel or PC and PS5 port. While Yharnam of the FromSoftware title recalls English architecture in the Victorian era, we can imagine Krat as a more French Gothic version. Doesn’t the rain, the sound effects and that bone saw remind you of a weapon from Bloodborne? The ability to type remotely using a weapon for FromSoftware’s game or using the Legion arm in the Neowiz title. Finally, many points are connected so a modder decided to add the missing element to make Lies of P a real substitute for Bloodborne: the hunter’s outfit.

Thus, the Bloodborne Hunter mod is available on Nexus Mods and allows you to transform Mad Donkey’s costume with the classic mask and the famous trench coat visible in the 2015 software. The boss is in the first part of the game, it does not All that remains is to obtain the bone saw that can be recovered in the Malum district and your puppet becomes, not a real little boy, but the much-missed hunter. This will not completely fill the lack of information around any future for the Japanese firm’s license, but it remains better than nothing for the most impatient. It must be said that the two universes blend perfectly and we would almost have the impression of seeing a spin-off of Bloodborne with the images of this mod.

Still no port or remake on the horizon

Unfortunately, Sony doesn’t seem determined to answer the community’s prayers. Several rumors suggest the arrival of a Blooborne Remake or remaster on PS5 and PC, but nothing concrete for the moment. It must be said that when Bluepoint announces that it is working on a redesign of a title from Sony’s catalog, this should give us hope. In the meantime, PC players can compensate with this mod which will give them the slight illusion of diving back into the game. More than 3,000 have already succumbed to the temptation.
