Bloodborne returns unexpectedly. It’s excellent !

Bloodborne on PC, here is a legend which continues and which appears often, too often, so much that one ends up not believing any more in it. Fans of the license then embarked on a huge challenge.

Every year since its release, numerous rumors have circulated about a possible Bloodborne PC. More than 8 years after its launch this is still not the case. No remake on the horizon and a second opus does not seem to be planned, despite the rumors which are insistent, in particular concerning a port on PS5. The fans wait, get impatient, but no information comes. As a result, some took the lead. If Bloodborne doesn’t come to PC, they will do it themselves with their means.

Bloodborne with pixels

It may not be the long-awaited remake of Bloodborne or that famous second installment that fans dream of, but the project has the merit of existing. Youtuber Potomy set himself a major challenge: recreate the souls-like universe in Minecraft. Known by some for his construction work on Microsoft’s game, he had already cut his teeth with the reproduction of Yharnam, the iconic city of the title. This time, the architect of Minecraft returns with a well-polished video, a mini Bloodborne film. All turned completely into the construction game with the decor he created. For the occasion, he surrounded himself with a whole team to make this cinematic as clean as possible.

There is nothing to say about the quality of the video. The reproduction of Yharnam had already won over Bloodborne fans. We come to want more, to imagine an adventure map with a complete story in this gothic setting. And while we’re caught dreaming, Sony and FromSoftware remain completely silent on any future for the title. With the studio just launching Armored Core 6 and with the success of Elden Ring, many have been hoping for the PS4 exclusive to return to the latest console and PC.

A PS5 and PC remake or port one day?

In any case, Bluepoint Games, to whom we owe the PS5 version of Demon’s Souls, has already confirmed that it is working on an original license and on a new remake. Rumors have it that it is a certain Bloodborne, but no tangible proof has been put forward. Even former PlayStation pundit David Jaffe had taken to speculating and claimed months ago that he had heard something about the game was in the works, not sure if it was a remaster, remake or a PC version, before retracting. So to be continued, but the wait is long, very long.
