A suitcase left alone triggered a bomb alarm at the main train station in Salzburg on Thursday. Now the police have released mug shots and are asking for your help.
A caller saw an abandoned suitcase on the platform of the local train S1 in Salzburg on Thursday and immediately alerted the emergency services. As a result, the police blocked the local and part of the main train station as a precaution and examined the reported object. A little later the all-clear could be given – the “Krone” reported. On Thursday evening the Salzburg police then published mug shots on which the apparently elderly woman and the said suitcases can be seen. Curious: Another picture shows the note that the woman stuck on the red suitcase and triggered the alarm. “Be careful, don’t touch it – it will blow up,” it says. The police are asking for information.
