(AOF) – Bonduelle’s turnover in the third quarter of its 2021-2022 financial year amounted to 725.9 million euros, an increase compared to the previous financial year of 7.6% in data. reported and 4% like-for-like after taking into account currency fluctuations, mainly the strengthening of the US and Canadian dollars. The Europe zone posted an increase of 9.4% on a comparable basis over the quarter to 336 million euros, while the rest of the world fell by 0.5% to 389.9 million.

By segment, Canned and Frozen respectively increased by 9.7% and 9.6% on a comparable basis, Fresh fell by 5.6%.

“As in the first 6 months of the financial year, activity is returning to a more normalized growth rate, marked by subdued demand in mass distribution and sustained growth in out-of-home catering supported over the quarter by comparison bases favorableā€, explained the agri-food group.

Given the evolution of the activity over the first 9 months of the financial year, the necessary changes in prices negotiated or to be negotiated taking into account cost inflation, and despite an uncertain health, geopolitical and consumer context, the group confirms its activity growth objective of 3% and is aiming for a stable current operating margin compared to the previous financial year, ie 3.6% of turnover at constant exchange rates and perimeter.
