(Boursier.com) — BOOSTHEAT, a French industrial and software player in energy efficiency, announces a partnership with Proxipel, an industrial player specializing in the transformation and recovery of biomass on the new “edge IoT” software solution from the “BOOSTHEAT Software Solutions & Services (BS3)” activity.
This announcement follows the letter of intent received by BOOSTHEAT last May. The objective of this collaboration is to optimize the performance of future generations of Proxipel pellet machines by implementing an on-board data analysis solution developed by BOOSTHEAT.
After an in-depth study of existing software solutions, Proxipel chose BOOSTHEAT’s innovative approach, supported by positive feedback from its software solution deployed in the field. The partnership project provides for the performance of operational pilot tests, integrating the “edge IoT” software solution developed by BOOSTHEAT, which will be directly integrated into the new Proxipel production unit.
This innovative IoT software solution will make it possible to process the data collected within Proxipel’s mobile pellet manufacturing unit, thus providing valuable information on their efficiency and productivity. By processing data locally rather than in the cloud, this approach reduces data processing times, costs, connectivity dependency, while improving process efficiency.
For Proxipel, the integration of this solution is an accelerator to optimize the performance of its future generations of machines thanks to on-board data analysis.
As part of this project, Proxipel plans to commission a first pilot unit. This unit, which represents the first operational application of Proxipel’s technology, will be a mobile pellet production unit and will serve as a model for the company’s future solutions. The software solution developed by Boostheat will be integrated into this pilot unit, allowing the acquisition, storage and analysis of data captured by the PLC and other sensors.
