Borderlands 3 offers you many exciting items that you can not only play by playing, but also by entering so-called Shift codes gets, for example, weapons. Developer Gearbox regularly publishes codes, but many expire after a short time and are no longer valid. You’d better enter them quickly.

Here we show you an overview of the current shift codes. But there are also shift codes that always apply. However, you can only use them once at a time.

There are several ways to enter shift codes for Borderlands 3. You can try it directly in the game first. Go to the menu and enter the 25-digit code.

Optionally, you can also enter it on Gearbox’s shift page. Create an account that is linked to your Epic or Console account, log in and use the code.

Pick up the golden keys and open the chest

You will then receive keys, also known as “Golden Keys”. You pick them up from your Borderlands mails in the game and walk to the golden chest in Sanctuary, near the fast travel point. With the Golden Key you open the chest and with a bit of luck you will get a really strong item.

How do you find new shift codes

VIP codes

You may also have heard of the Vault Insider Program (VIP), which allows you to redeem codes and receive a variety of rewards on the Borderlands 3 VIP website. This program has now been discontinued. Any VIP profiles, activities and VIP points no longer exist. Gearbox continues to publish shift codes.

Chamber cards and diamond keys

Gearbox continued to introduce new rewards with the Director’s Cut add-on in April 2021. Level up so-called “chamber cards” and you will get a chamber box. From this you can potentially get different items, sometimes also very rare diamond keys.

With these diamond keys you can visit the new diamond armory under the bridge on the upper deck of Sanctuary 3. Use your key on a diamond box and unlock new rewards. There are four objects, one of which is legendary. But hurry to collect it, a timer is running and if you are too slow, your chance is forfeited.
