Boris and Barbara Becker separated 23 years ago. Now they are reunited in Milan – thanks to their luck with new partners.
Oh, life can be so sweet! Stroll through small streets, enjoy an espresso outdoors in mild temperatures even in February, shop in luxurious boutiques… The northern Italian fashion metropolis Milan offers a high quality of life.
Is Boris Becker already engaged to Lilian?
Ex-tennis star Boris Becker, 56, has also appreciated this since June last year, living in an elegant penthouse with his partner Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro, 33, in Italy’s most expensive city. You can supposedly see the whole of Milan from the roof terrace of the 300 square meter apartment. Did Boris ask the “love of his life,” as he called Lilian after his release from prison at the end of 2022, the question of all questions? He is said to have recently secretly gotten engaged to her. His lawyer Christian-Oliver Moser did not want to comment on this when asked by GALA.
However, it had long been clear that this next step in love for the couple should follow – and since the divorce from Becker’s second wife Lilly, 47, was finally finalized in September 2023 after five years of the War of the Roses, it was only a matter of time. “I am convinced that there will be a third Mrs. Becker,” he announced in the podcast “Boris Becker – The Fifth Sentence”.
Will Barbara soon be visiting Milan more frequently?
Boris’ first wife Barbara Becker, 57, with whom he was married until 2001 and has sons Noah, 30, and Elias, 24, also knows the second largest Italian city very well. She loves strolling through Milan, she writes in her new book “Optimize your Sugar.” She paid her ex-husband and Lilian a visit here last summer.

It could be that such meetings will occur more often in the future – but then more often with four people. Barbara Becker is also said to have found a new love: an Italian entrepreneur who lives and works in Miami, where Barbara mainly lives, and in Milan. He is said to have two adult daughters and a 14-year-old son and has been separated from the mother of his children for ten years. Barbara has also been away since the separation in 2020 Juan Lopez Salaberry, 39, single. So it sounds like a “perfect match”, just like Boris. The children should also have already gotten to know each other. Barbara Becker left an inquiry from GALA about her new happiness unanswered.
Boris wants more children
The Becker patchwork clan is constantly growing: father of four Boris wants more offspring with his Lilian. He imagines himself “surrounded” by his children for the next ten years: “I hope there will be a few more. I’m a family man.” As we all know, it takes a whole village to raise every child. How practical, if so then the ex, who has now become such a good friend, lives nearby.
