The High authority for the transparency of public life (HATVP) has posted the asset declarations of the 43 members of the Borne government, ministers, deputy ministers and state secretaries, reflecting the diversity of their origins and situations. It is the imminence of this publication which accelerated the resignation of the government on Monday of the Minister Delegate for Local Authorities, Caroline Cayeux, in disagreement with the HATVP.

Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne, polytechnician and former boss of the RATP in particular, declared to be the owner of two apartments, Paris and in the Hauts-de-Seine for a total value of 1.3 million, including more than 50,000 euros still due to the bank. She also has several life insurance policies for a cumulative amount of over 250,000 euros and a Citron valued at 10,780 euros.

On the wealthier side, the Minister Delegate for the Budget Gabriel Attal declares life insurance in excess of 1.4 million euros. His colleague at European Affairs, Laurence Boone, owns about 500,000 euros worth of shares and stock options with the insurer Axa. His supervising minister, Catherine Colonnadeclares more than 700,000 euros of life insurance.

Recently questioned for the shares held by her children in a company not mentioned in her declaration of interest and whose funds are partly domiciled in tax havens, the Minister of Energy Transition Agns Pannier-Runacher declares a comfortable heritage. Half owner of two Parisian apartments, she has nearly 400,000 euros in life insurance and 1.1 million euros spread over several savings accounts.
